These sweet little birds are diurnal (the are awake in the day and sleep in the night). They are very very sweet! Or like sugar that is! They eat twice their body weight daily and beat their wings thousands of times per minute! We have Ruby Throated Hummingbirds around here - yet there are many species - over 350!
