You might be asking… what is this creature anyway? Well! It’s the end of a horseshoe crab telson, or tail. This “Monkey Head” is where the telson attaches to the body of the horseshoe crab. I have always collected these, never quite knowing what to do with them. These will surely be a great conversation starter!

No horseshoe crabs were hurt in the making of these pieces - these were found objects, no longer attached to deceased horseshoe crabs
